I took an extra day off to rest up, but overall am feeling much better. It must have been a 24 hour flu. Either way, I kept up on email… Watched some DVR shows… Took some naps… And played a lot of these games.
I got to also spend some quality time with the pup.
I woke up today and didn’t feel the greatest. But I got ready, suited up and went to work in all of the stupid traffic. I ended up leaving two hours later.
I feel like I have a gremlin shredding my insides. Delightful. My food of choice:
And my pooch keeping me company once I finally had energy to move to the couch.
I was so happy to have nothing to do today and be able to just relax. I resigned myself to staying in the house. I watched TV, played on my phone, cleaned up after the party.
This afternoon we had a set of play dates. Matthew and Beth came over for drinks and chats. Bailey and Diohgé had a play date too.
We also signed our Christmas cards so we could ready to mail them!
Now for some more relaxation.
The big day! This morning was touch and go… Lots to do, more RSVPs, baking, cooking, displaying…
But it all got done, with a great result! We probably had 75 people come through and we had a blast. We had about 10 dogs at one point who all got along well… We had around 10 kids come and color at the craft table. And folks loved the photo booth.

We are getting ready for the party! So much prep… Grocery shopping, baking, organizing, snow shoveling, cleaning and more of the same.
The pooch had a hard keeping up with all the movement. So he just gave up finally.
