I got a call tonight at 5:10 asking me if we wanted tickets to see Prince tonight. Um, DUH!! He put on 6 shows this week at the Dakota Jazz Club in the bottom of the Target building. We’re talking 350 people venue!
Can I just say amazing?! Standing room only… We were about 30 feet from him at any time. Great music, total jam session. And he closed it with Purple Rain!

I got a set of tickets to the Minnesota Swarm for tonight when we were at the make A Wish Ball. I had to ask what they did… Lacrosse!
I guess that there is a first time for everything… They make it fun! A rabid fan base, lots of fun music during the game, lots of physical violence, and very paced.
It’s cheap too!
We visited the theater tonight to see Cats. Wow. We left at intermission. It was horrible… I mean no plot, boring. Great voices and dancing, so not a cast issue. Don’t ever go.
