Today was a “water and sun and boating no leave the cabin day”. It was beautiful! We took boat rides… I learned to drive the boat, Diohgé learned to swim and did a great job! All in all we just relaxed and enjoyed the weather.

195.365.2014 Restful
Today was just a nice and restful day. After breakfast, I just relaxed and read some of my book before heading outside to play lawn games all afternoon. I had my first walking taco which was delicious! We even had a campfire early today.
Tonight we headed into town and played at the casino for awhile. I had a ton of fun playing 3 card poker. But Dave ended up the big winner!
194.365.2014 Shooting
We drove 45 minutes to a gun range to go clay shooting. However, we didn’t think of looking at the website to get hours. Well, they are closed Monday and Tuesday. Luckily, there was one guy there who opened and let us shoot a course! It was Dave’s first time and he did well.
We had some lunch on the way back, took some naps and played some games. After a great dinner (smoked ribs and turkey), we had some beverages and read trivial pursuit cards from the 80s.
Today also marked the 4th anniversary since my dad died. I can’t believe it’s been 4 years… We miss you dad! Cheers! br />

We headed out to the cabin today after lots of packing and an amazingly loaded car. Mercy.
The cabin and lake are great and we already had fun playing ladders, grilling out and having a fire. The dogs love running around!

After a wonderful massage, the rest of the day was all about prepping for the cabin. Target, Petsmart, Gander Mountain… All in a days work! We got a ton ready and just have a bit to do tomorrow.
