Today was the first day of the diet… Two shakes. Two chicken breasts. Two petite filets. Lots of salad and cucumbers. And it seemed easy! Hopefully tomorrow will be just as good.

13.365.2015 Eating My Way Through NYC
Today was our day to comp shop NYC for innovation. There was some cool stuff out there! We went to several stores doing fun new things. Oakley makes custom pairs of sunglasses in minutes and has a glass washer that looks like a car wash. Urban Outfitters allowed you to print Instagram photos instantly, Samsung Galaxy experience taught you how to use a tablet by ordering free coffee. Fun!
We also stopped to eat … Everywhere. Carnegie Deli, Intelligentsia Coffee, Eataly, Samsung, Nespresso and the airport. Tomorrow I start a major diet plan with Slimgenics so I was enjoying today. Here goes 60 lbs!

Today was conference day of the trip where we walked the expo hall to find new and fun innovations to bring to our guests. It was actually very fun and I met with some great companies. I also got to listen to the founder of Kayak speak and he was really good.
Best part of the trip though… Dinner with Jen! It was great to see her and the good/wine wasn’t bad!

Today I start my year of work travel. I have 29 trips currently scheduled, but I’m sure that will change whether up or down. First trip – NYC for a conference to see new retail technology. Bust out the Amex! I’m ready to buy some fun toys! But looks at this amazing view of the city as we flew in!
10.365.2015 Lasagna and Games
Today we went to the DP where I wore at least 4 layers just to make it through the cold. But the boys had fun!
Then I came home and made a homemade lasagna (delicious sauce!). We had MBB over and had a blast playing games.
