I spent most of my day outside leaf blowing and bagging all of fall’s glory. Tip: If you are buying a house and it has 37 trees in the backyard, don’t.

288.365.2014 Apple Orchards
We spent the morning sleeping in and relaxing before making the trek down to Farmington. We spent the afternoon and evening with the Kinglands. We haven’t seen them in forever! All of us loaded up and went to the Apple Orchard and took a hay ride, ate some mini donuts and enjoyed some cider. Back at the house, we played with new mixology dice that Joe got for his birthday. Amazing!! My favorite was the tequila with fresh orange and agave to sweeten. Yum!

I’ve realized that every Spring I’ll be plucking out seedlings in the mulch patches. And that every Fall I’ll be leaf blowing and bagging. Why did I buy a house with a big yard?
282.365.2014 Fall Clean Up
After a quick flight home (in First Class, of course), I took a nice nap with the pups. Then when we got up, it was time to clean up the yard. We put away the patio cushions, scooped poop and figured out how to put together the leaf blower. Leaf blowing was fun, but I don’t really want to bag it up. Anyone?

I traveled to Cleveland this afternoon so that I could be here for L&Bs wedding. But tonight I got to spend some quality time with MSJK! It was nice to catch up and talk about current life, past lives and our billion dollar plans. Here’s Lake Erie during the flight:
