Day 50

End of the week…

The cost of not remembering...

I end my week of “work” photos with something a bit different. Last night I blogged about how it was great to have some friends to help me through. Tonight, I had the best. A friend and I winded down from the work week — for 5 hours. Happy hourS?

Amazing conversation… great venting… deep sharing… very enjoyable. I’m not sure what even happened this week at work. Honestly, I had no idea what time it was when we left at 9:30.

It made the week that much more worth it. Thanks Friend…

Day 25

One is not like the other…

Sunshine Sweetness

Dave helped me tonight with this delight. And delightful it is! Yum. Our friend Michael Abata brought us home candy from Spain. These were in a bottle labeled, “Happy Pills”. I loved the color of all the candy together and wanted to shoot it.

Dave grabbed his flash and a vase… put the flash under, the candy on top and wah-lah! This was fun… We made sure that the smiley face was prominent. Also, this will serve as an entry for my 365 project theme “One is not like the other”.

Day Four

Back to the grind...

Okay… I can’t complain too much. I mean, I had a great Holiday with a TON of time off. My peers that work in stores hate me because of it… BUT, I did have to go back to work today.

Its wasn’t too hard, but this is what I saw at 7:30… My computer with a full day scheduled, my eggs and coffee begging to be finished… surrounded by photos of the ones I love.

I took this picture with my iPhone 3GS and then reprocessed it using CameraBag @camerabag. I LOVE this program. I first found it as an app and then they came out with a desktop version. It allows you to apply different camera affects to a photo from how it would have looked throughout different time periods (Helga, Lolo, Mono, 1962, 1974, Instant, etc.) You can also cross them… In this one, I applied a thick frame with a 7×6 crop and the Helga and Lolo filters.
