The DPS website (awesome, BTW) was hosting an “eye” challenge this weekend. Some pretty cool shots out there. I wanted to participate IF I could get the right photo… not just to do it. I was walking to open the patio door and found the insect on the screen. I grabbed my macro and started shooting. I feel like he was giving me the side eye, “Let me in!”

As I was uploading the photo, I was playing with Bailey (and the squirrels). She had this great look of desire in her eyes. And it helped that she would ignore the camera to stare at the squirrel that was squeezing to get her attention. Perfect.
