We were supposed to parasail and snorkel today. But the high winds forced us to change our plans. So we ended up relaxing at the pool again and had dinner at the Sunset Bar. We also played some cards back at the villa. The sunset was gorgeous!

Today we traveled to Key West to spend the day. We had a yummy greasy spoon breakfast and lots of fun at the Southernmost part of the US. We walked around all of Duval St and took a sunset cruise.

Dave has been dying to swim with dolphins for years. So we finally got the chance! We originally booked it at the hotel, but a bartender told us that another place was way better and we think he was right.

We had the chance to pet the dolphins, be pulled by them, swim around with them, gets hugs and kisses. It was a blast! They also had a dolphin show, parrot show and sea lion show. Overall, it was a fun day.

This afternoon we relaxed at the pool and then enjoyed a nice dinner. This evening we’ve been relaxing.

Today was a day to unwind and relax. We actually wokeup fairly early, but that’s because it was daylight savings time and we got the extra hour. So we headed to breakfast and enjoyed a mimosa with the buffet.

Then we decided to head to town to get some groceries and I needed a jacket and some pants. It’s actually a bit brisk here in the AM and at night! We accomplished a lot and then went to the pool to relax for several hours. I literally got in the water and didn’t get out for about 3 hours. Amazing.

On the way back to the villa we saw a small dolphin show while they were being fed. Fun!

We had a great dinner at the Hideaway Cafe… Wine, steak, dessert and champs. Delicious!

And now we are going to end the night watching Walking Dead!!

It’s finally here! We woke up early to get ready and head out to the airport. We traveled for what seemed like 17 hours, but finally made it to Duck Key! A little windy, but the temps are great… 🙂 A week of fun is about to ensue!
