Dave had a quick little stay in the ER tonight due to some swollen arms and hands (the last 3-4 days!) However, no results and everything seems okay.

Visiting a new little friend today at Children’s Hospital… Well, really visiting her dad. We had a good pizza and a good chat.

Took a quick trip to the ER today to be careful. Was having weird heart flutters. The clinic at work noticed them when checking my pulse and sent me.
Ended up with a diagnosis of heart palpitations, which I guess is very normal. While I’m definitely not that old, the doctor noted it comes as you get older. Crazy!

A Star in Room 409
I came home this weekend to celebrate Father’s Day… It was already a planned trip. Unfortunately, my dad has taken a turn for the worse and has been in the hospital since Monday. His pain continues to increase and therefore, so do the meds. Room 409 will be our home for the next couple of ??
I was really excited today because he was very lucid, alert, we had some fun conversations, and funny conversations. However, I’m not sure how much more of this will be left…
As we begin to just try for comfort, I pray that his pain will subside and he can receive some relief. I praise God that I was able to have this many years with an amazing father. I couldn’t have asked for anything more.
