Well, a quick one, but meaningful nonetheless. I had a great time celebrating Mags 2nd BD, loving all over Sam and seeing the rest of the bunch. But its always hard to say goodbye to the family and Ohio. I saw this sign in the airport. Thanks for the fun time Fam!

My baby girl turned two today! It was so much fun… Playing with her all day, seeing her get excited about the party, cake, balloons and presents. She threw a fit about her dress, but quickly moved on when she got a sucker. That a girl..
I played alot today with angles and even “shooting from my hip”. Literally… just holding up the camera and shooting. It was fun and I actually got some great shots.

This baby boy is the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen. He just smiles… drools… smiles some more. Laughs… rocks his body with FORCE… claps his hands and then screams at you. He is so funny. I sat on the floor this morning and took photo after photo and never got tired…

Birthday Girl gets techie...
Two photos today! I flew home to Ohio today to visit the family. My niece Maggie is turning two on Monday and I can’t miss the party! The first photo is from the friendly skies… The plane was EMPTY, so I actually was able to move around and get some nice shots from the window. I tweaked this one a bit.
When I got into town, my sister and the babes came up to my parent’s house to stay the night. Almost immediately Maggie said, “Dasis, animals?” Translation – “David, where is your animal game on the iphone?” This girl remembers everything! We’ve played it on my phone since she was one. For about an hour we played a variety of kids games while she sat with me. So much fun! She was a blast tonight and very playful.

End of the week…
The cost of not remembering...
I end my week of “work” photos with something a bit different. Last night I blogged about how it was great to have some friends to help me through. Tonight, I had the best. A friend and I winded down from the work week — for 5 hours. Happy hourS?
Amazing conversation… great venting… deep sharing… very enjoyable. I’m not sure what even happened this week at work. Honestly, I had no idea what time it was when we left at 9:30.
It made the week that much more worth it. Thanks Friend…
