I was woken up by the pooch at about 2:15 to go out and potty. It was actually a good thing. Because by 3 am we were in full storm mode with rolling thunder that literally didn’t stop until around 6 am. He was FREAKED out.

I got down on the floor with him and then Dave joined. We ended up in the sitting room because he kept pacing. Then we tried to give him a Benadryl which he wouldn’t take. After that we headed to the guest room downstairs, closed the door with all of us on the floor. That lasted for about 7 mins. Off to pace again!

I ended up getting ready around 6 and the boys finally fell asleep. I can’t wait to sleep now!

The thunder tonight was super loud and lasted for about 30 seconds on each rumble. The pooch wasn’t okay with the situation. So he quickly ate the chicken off the top of his bowl and then ran downstairs with us to curl up in a corner. When the storms were over, he finally came back up to eat around 9:52.
