Iron Chef dinner tonight! Our ingredient of choice was basil. We had basil-based guacamole, basil and strawberry cocktails, basil infused hamburgers and finally vanilla basil ice cream. Delicious!
The dog decided that he needed to be close to us… So under the table during all of dinner.
Iron Chef dinner tonight with “potato” as the key ingredient. We (as in Dave) made a mashed potato bar… Yummy! PK made gnocchi that was delicious. And the Bergners made a sweet potato dessert thy was to die for!
Iron Chef Dinner tonight!! We get together with some friends about once a month for a rotating dinner party. Host serves main entree and picks an ingredient for all of us to include. Some bring an app, some bring a dessert. This time the ingredient is Citrus and we have dessert. After spending some quality time on Pinterest this week, I found this great recipe for a Lemon Blueberry cupcake. YUM. Here are some shots in the process and the final product!
