H is for HATS!

H is for Hats

H is for more Hats!

Our friends Joe and Julie came to pick up Bailey. 😦  Sad day here. But, when I solicited their ideas for “H” words, Julie suggested HATS! So, I ran upstairs knowing that I had the perfect hat for St. Patrick’s Day… GUINNESS! I took some shots… not the best, but fun anyways. (This is about fun, right!?) When I came back downstairs, they gave Dave and I “taking care of Bailey” gifts.

Look what I got!! A Mickey Mouse Ears Hat for St. Patrick’s Day! How perfect… not only do I love Disney, but I love St. Pat’s and my letter was “H” for hats! Therefore, logically, I had to take a second photo with the new hat.

St. Patrick’s Day is coming up! Shamrocks are typical of the Holiday and I bought this small grocery store plan about 3 years ago. It’s still blooming big every year during the month. I love it!

Ok… So, I am going to do something different today… I would like YOUR advice, help, vote on exactly which photos you like. I have labeled each of the 4 photos with a “vote” number. Here’s the difference… 1 and 3 are the original shots with no editing. Votes 2 and 4 are edited/processed with Picnik. Both have some different effects, but that’s not the point.

F is for Family…

Family in a Frame

My family doesn’t live near… So, when I got home, we get lots of photos. This one is from Christmas. A little tripod and to be honest, a little Photoshop action. I have a feeling that the next few months with family could be tough… We’ll get through it like we always do.

E is for Eyes…

Eyes, Eyebrows and Eyelashes

“E” is for “Eyes”, “Eyelashes” and “Eyebrows”. Dave was really excited to help me out. Can you see that in his eyes? ESPECIALLY when I put the “E” on his forehead…

I think that’s why I actually LOVE shooting eyes… They say so much no matter how much the person doesn’t say a word. You can see joy, laughter, sadness, anger, ambivalence, shock, horror… just to name a few.

I could have done “D” for “David”, but felt that wouldn’t be fun… So, I shot one of my favorite drinks… yesterday was #1 — coffee… today… #2… Diet coke! So, “D” is for a Drink of Diet Coke.
