Diohge (pronounced Dee-ooo-gee). Yes, like D.O.G. 🙂  We think that we are clever. And then we have D-Cubed. 🙂

We got a puppy!

A wet dog's first bath

Well, we finally bit the bullet and got a dog today. Our friends found a breeder in Iowa (about 2 hours away) that had 3 border collie pups. We weren’t sure and really debated whether or not we should even go. But, we decided that we should atleast go and look… And of course, the MINUTE we pulled up, this little guy jumped into our laps. He was relentless!

We had been convinced to get a girl dog, but she just wasn’t as friendly. This guy though… licking, jumping up, letting us hold him. We grabbed him and left! He is a pure bred border collie born in May. He had a big day… left his family, played with some adult dog friends, learned how to sit, took a long car ride back to Minneapolis, had a bath, saw (and doesn’t like) his first set of stairs. We’re really working on the potty thing too.
