This morning we had a bright and early interview schedule for some eager interns. It’s one of my favorite days of the year! We also had the chance to visit with some of our full time hires… Great to see them again!
Then I drove up to Columbus and had some “me” time at the North Market… Ice cream, beer, laptop. What could be better?
And I had dinner with an old friend . (And by old, I mean he is OLD.)
And of course, a pic for Mary of my poochy pup.

A had a fun day today heading down to Oxford to start a quick recruiting trip. On the way I passed Kings Island and thought of all the memories from high school and youth group. Do you all remember!?
Then as I was visiting some stores today, I found my famous artwork!! Last year, I submitted some photos to our internal design team and 2 were selected. I know now that atleast 1 got through the final stage! Here’s my photo on a shirt! Sold at Target!!
And the pooch got home from his stint in daycare. (Not my shot.)
Today we visited a few more of the Canada stores. They are in great shape to open! On the trip we stopped by a local grocery… I love the Canadian bagged milk. (Photo on my other phone!!)
And then we visited the Canada HQ to see some friends. (Photo on my other phone!!)
And then I got home to see my pooch. Can you see the tail wag in the background?
I’m off to Canada tonight after an all day training session in consensus building. It was a good class!
We had to do a couple of projects one of which was The Marshmallow Challenge. How high can we build a structure of spaghetti, tape and string… With the mallow on top. We won, but barely!
More importantly, we learned about consensus and rapid prototyping. Now I’m headed off to Canada for two days and we are just boarding (8:08) for our 7:30 flight. Oh well.
And of course the pooch had this pitiful look of “Why are you leaving without me”. I think he now understands the luggage.
I ran for about an hour tonight. My shins are killing me! But as my BB at works says, “I’m a runner!” Now to sign up for a March 5K.
And the pup was really tired tonight.
