Today I had the chance to celebrate with my old peers and boss on my new move. So much fun getting back together and joking with the group.
And then some play time.

I bought a new nifty little gadget this weekend to help make me more productive. My new ZAGG keyboard for my Mini iPad makes it easier for me to work. I used it all day in meetings and then came home and worked for awhile using it as well.
And the pooch curled up with me while I did so. I did get a lot done!

I took a quick little jet trip to New Mexico today. The jet itself was a gulfstream 5 and was amazing inside… 12 seats, kitchenette, wifi. Just fun!

As we arrived in Albuquerque, we found out this week was the hot air balloon festival. It was amazing… Hundreds of them in the air. You can barely see the two black dots in the sky.
After the travel back, we enjoyed dinner tonight with the Kemmetmuellers. We retired to their abode to visit with Bailey. She was very happy to see us all.
And I found this delight on canvas in their home! Superheroes!
And of course Diohgé wanted to play ball. Shocking.

Finally! A good day with some exciting news. First, I had a great day at work where I actually got some time to work in projects and email and just organizing myself. And I got to meet more of the team! I should have known it’d be a good day when I saw this…
Then this evening we finally got the news we’d been waiting on. Earlier this week, we found out the mortgage underwriter was challenging the appraisal value on our house. Long story short, we could lose the house. BUT, we got the news that the review was cancelled! Woo hoo!
To celebrate, we all went out and had some dessert. The pooch wanted more than his fair share.
282.365.2013 Long Days Ahead
I spent 5 hours today in leadership meetings sharing fall strategies and learning about other team’s strategies. It was great to hear what was going on. But the last few days and next several will be like drinking from a fire hose. So busy!
So here’s my car telling me to buckle up my work bag because it’s too heavy. A sign of how much I’m taking back and forth. 🙂
And the poor pooch has been having some stomach issues. He’s on an antibiotic and sleeping lots. 😦
