322.365.2013 Last Day

Today was sad… A beautiful warm day driving around in the convertible realizing that we leave tomorrow. 😦 But we finally got to Sanibel and Captiva. Definitely worth the time!

First we started the day with some champagne.

Then we headed to Pinnocho’s for ice
cream. We heard from several that it was amazing… The Italian wedding cake was delicious!

The beach at the Lighthouse was fun for a walk and shells.

Dave enjoyed the drive as well…

And of course we came back to relax in the pool. I love it.

Tomorrow… Pooch!

Slept in… Had two cups of coffee… Read half a book. Took a little swim and jacuzzi… Grabbed a beer. Read some more.

Had a great dinner. Chicken kebobs and a wonderful Far Niente Chardonnay.

Finished my book and started another. Went out for ice cream (Oh. My. Goodness.)

Mini golfing…

Night time swim.

Perfect decompression day.

202.365.2013 Wedding Fair Craziness!

Today was crazy…. Crazy busy, crazy fun and crazy exciting! Dave participated in his first wedding fair with DM Photographs.

I’ll admit, listening to his plans for the last several weeks stressed me out because one idea was bigger than the next. I was more stressed when I arrived and saw the space. BUT, it was pretty awesome! It all came together and I’m pretty sure we had the best booth…

Photo booth, contests, snacks, water, couches, albums, videos, music, make up artist… I mean…

I even took some time for fun in the booth!

The pooch was super tuckered from his big day out too.

Then we had a great dinner at Cafe Lurcat with Matthew and Beth. Their Sunday date night dinner is great! The dessert… Salted caramel Ice cream with lemon shortbread cookies and cinnamon mini donuts!
