Day 282

Colors Up High

More Fall colors, more pinhole camera and lots of fun! We went out today to a park with our friends Grant & Laura. Grant took some shots of the dog and I took alot of shots of fall colors, etc. We headed to their place to grill out and enjoy a nice little fire-bowl smore roast. It was great! Diohgé loved it!

Day 231

Really? Really.

The Lush Green of Tennessee

I am on a two day jet trip for work. I haven’t been on one in awhile, so I was REALLY excited for this. Of course, I somehow have lost my mind in the process… I’m the only person who forgot my name badge, I didn’t bring an inhaler (don’t need it, but still..). And worst of all, I left my phone in my car at the hanger.

I literally sat down in the jet and realized it IMMEDIATELY. There’s really no way to tell your EVP, “Hey, I left my phone, can I just run out and get it real quick?” So, I sucked it up and moved on. Now, if you know me… I mean, really know me… You’ll know that, as Dave said, “Your like a crack addict with his stash.” Exactly. I was jealous as I watched everyone check their email, text their friends, etc.

But I did get a chance to steal my friend’s phone the snap the above pic. We were traveling between Knoxville and Nashville and we saw this great view. Wow… a beautiful state. We had a great night tonight enjoying some BBQ and some live music.

Overall, I did pretty well today… and I’ll have to go through tomorrow too. Another friend continues to challenge me to go without my phone to just relax. I have to tell you… it kind of worked. Hmmm…

Day 226

Photo Walk in the #1 City

Urban Sunflower

Sunflower Prairie

Storm Coming

Tunnel

In the last few weeks, I keep on seeing Sunflowers all over the highway… every exit, including the road beside our housing complex. I have wanted to find out how to get to see them and also the huge lake area behind the complex. So, I decided to take what I like to call a photo walk. 🙂

I found a path that led us down to the other side of the highway… There were hundreds of sunflowers and a really cool looking sky. I thought that I should share some of the best. Which one is your favorite?

Day 209

I took over 300 photos today. Here’s what most of them looked like:

My New Favorite Store - Uniglo

I was comp shopping for work… I hit 3 major districts and probably about 30 – 40 stores. I was quick! But it was so much fun. My new favorites… both Japanese (hmmm…)  Uniglo and Muji!

Here are some other shots along the way… Macy’s in Herlard Square (34th St!):

The Original Macy's - 34th Street

Central Park!! A view as I came up from the Subway.

And then of course, Mecca… THE APPLE STORE!! It was freakin’ crazy in there!

And on my way home… I happened to walk by, so why not capture it!?
