Day 109

Diana??

Flowers in the 60s

I bought a new toy that I received today. Literally… I have wanted a Diana camera which is a big fad right now. A camera from the 60s that takes these pretty unique photos. However, I didn’t want an extra camera. So, I found a Diana lens that I can mount to my Nikon DSLR. How cool! I got it today, but am not sure that it really is taking the same type of shots I expected…

More experimentation later…

Day 86

Yesterday I asked for help on how to continue a version of the Alphabet Challenge… My OCD because I need to have a complete calendar month. Thanks to everyone for the ideas. Today’s winner: MEGHANN!

SPRING is here!

SPRING is here!

Again, I got to use my macro lens… Very fun. My dad was joking about how he took pictures of grass and my mom complains that there are no people in it. So, I guess that’s where the idea came from. A combo from Meghann and Dad. Love the color of the letters and the bright green grass.

Day 81

V is for Violet in a Vase

V is for Violet in a Vase

I bought these Tulips (my favorite flower) at the grocery the other night. I mixed both violet and white because I loved them too much. I couldn’t decide. How perfect was this!! Violet in a Vase!! I know that I did violet the other day, but eh… who cares. And I’m loving the new camera.

Day 44

Winter Trees…

Pine Freeze

I woke up this morning and looked outside to see most of the trees frozen. I love this look and took some shots in January. Today, I chose to shoot some of the pine trees. I was trying to be varied in my shots and did alot of the 3 big trees together… but alas, I still loved this close up one better. I think that I really love macro photography.
