170.365.2013 Poochy Pups
I’m really into roasted veggies lately. The last two nights I made some on the stove with a little oil and some seasoning salt. Tonight I added some Parmesan. Yum.
Otherwise, I had a great night with my pooch. We played for awhile until he decided to watch the action out of the window. Then he came over for a quick snuggle before he laid down to sleep. So cute.

I forgot my exercise shoes tonight so I just went without. Not only the exercise hour, but picking up the dog and driving. No bigs.
Pooch had a long day in daycare. So tired…
168.365.2013 The Last Tasting
First, a PSA on this cute pups… Always has to have his paw on you during pets.
Tonight Dave and I held the final taste test… Angel Food Cupcakes! Now, to refresh your memory, I received 8 flavors to taste in order to make my birthday dozen. Angel Food was nice enough to give me 3 of each, so we had two with our friends and saved the last one for us.
In my interview, I gave them some flavor profiles to use… Peanut butter, espresso, coconut, lemon, blueberry. I love white icing and didn’t want chocolate.
The 8 flavors they crafted are So much fun… Some examples:
– Coco-De-Leche: coconut cake filled with dulce de Leche and caramel Swiss meringue icing.
– Peanut Butter blueberry cake with toasted 7-min meringue icing.
I mean, come on!!
Dave’s favorite was the coconut blueberry cake with lemon Swiss meringue. My favorites are the “Nutter-A-Misu” (peanut butter cake soaked in espresso with vanilla whip cream and cocoa powder) AND Coconut Blueberry “Tres Leches” with toasted 7-min meringue. AMAZING.

167.365.2013 Last Day of Vacation
The last day of vacation… Sad. But it was a good day!!
We started out at the dog park again. Only an hour… It was hot and even the pooch didn’t want to play much. Shade!!
Then we headed down to Steve and Jaci’s for a BBQ. We had a blast! Everyone was there and I got to hold little Greta for like 90 mins. She’s adorbs!
Tonight we got home in time to enjoy a little True Blood premiere!!
