I’m kinda already in vacation mode this week. My two big meetings are out of the way and now I can get ready for Napa next week.

So, I was able to go and enjoy a night of dinner with some good friends. They grilled out and we had some yummy ice cream and fun conversation. Then they even got me a couple of fun presents! It’s gonna be a “wine birthday”!

I think my favorites are the wine necklace to hold a glass and the wine glass cuff links. 🙂

Today was gorgeous!! In all ways… I had the chance to sleep in without the pooch waking me up. Then I took a long hot shower before heading to the dog park.

We hadn’t planned on doing much today until a friend called and asked us to head to Grand Ol Days in St. Paul. So, we packed up the pooches and headed over there. We got a ton of steps in… Diohgé wasn’t so sure about the large crowds and had to continue to ensure both Dave and I were close. But he did well…

Tonight we grilled some steaks and enjoyed Game of Thrones and the Borgias.

I had a great day today!! First, we went shopping and I picked up some new clothes for the Napa trip. Yay!!

Then we visited the cute little Fiona whose eyes are open much more now. Of course I didn’t take a photo.

We headed up to northeast to celebrate the graduation of a good friend Jason. And I didn’t take a photo.

And for the last major event, we volunteered at City Pages Beer Fest with Ben. So much fun!!!

We got the chance to enjoy some of the brews too… And then migrated to some other bars as well. Before we came home to the boy. Love him!
