I woke up today all a-flutter with a long list of to-dos. When I went downstairs I was greeted by this beautiful sight… Shammie was in full bloom to wish us off to her homeland!

We had to drop off the pooch with our friend Cara… Which when he saw her was so excited and jumped up on her. But he knew what was happening and tried twice to get back into the car. 😦 Then he kept on jumping on us giving us kisses. Broke our hearts!

Once we got to the airport, the nerves went away and we started to relax. One city to the next…

Now we are waiting in the Delta Sky Club for the overnight flight to Dublin. Dinner was actually very good at a place here in the airport.

I traveled to NYC today on a jet trip for work. Great stores… Huge volume and so busy. But we also had the chance to spend some time in the city on our own. We’re staying in Times Square, so a perfect location.

First, celebrating where I was for 12:12 on 12/12/12… In the Holland Tunnel!

Checked into The Muse Hotel as a part of the Kimpton hotels. Love them. I walked into my room to find this… hot water, hot chocolate (candy cane spoons and marshmallows included!), cookies, wine, cheese plate and water. And a Christmas tree decorated with photos from my blog! (You know that’s coming home with me!)

Then tonight we went to dinner and enjoyed a great burger and a beer sampler.

We went to Rockefellar Center to see the rink and Christmas tree… Beautiful!

And now I’m in a bar in Times Square listening to Eric Clapton play for the 12.12.12 concert… Reminds me of my dad for some reason. Cheers!

Last full day in NYC… Day of work and then evening of fun! We stopped by Saturday’s Surf in Soho and the line was longer for the coffee then the product. Amazing cappuccino.

I almost made my own Converse shoes, but just didn’t have enough time. Then we had some dinner and saw the Book of Mormon show. So hilarious…
