Dave and I had the chance to celebrate our Christmas today. We started with an amazing massages at Jessica’s, relaxed this afternoon, had steak and mac/cheese with some yummy Meeker wine. The Meeker was a gift from Aunt Jan years ago… A 2002 that was still delicious!

Then we opened a variety of presents and I’m really excited with what I got. Here are some shots of the day and the loot.

Today was a clean up day. A little sleep in… a little laundry… unpacking and putting the luggage away… even the cleaning lady was here! And of course, cataloging some new wine bottles into the collection. How could I not take a photo? The labels are showing 4 of my favorite wineries.

Week Four – Food

Ahhh, food. I love it so much, yet it makes me so fat. I don’t care. I had a physical this month and let’s just say that the dietician and I didn’t get along so well. Either way, I am trying to eat healthy. I guess that these pictures don’t make it look that way? But they are yummy!

I went to Kowalski’s for lunch and grabbed some proscuitto, fig jam, manchego and gruyere cheese. WOW. Great combo. Then we had dinner with our friends at MozzaMia… Again, wow. Great pizza, great desserts and great limoncello.

Yes, I had some wine with my lunch.

Week Two – Snow

Well, it’s about time that I post a couple… I’ve taken photos every week, just not blogged. I am exhausted and I’m not sure why. It’s not super busy… but I’ve taken advantage of slow nights and weekends and just laid around. It’s been amazing. Anyways… You’ll see a couple of posts to catch me up.

This week I took some shots of snow. There’s alot of here in MN… I think more then we’ve ever had in the last 4 years. We went to the dog park to let Diohgé run around and I thought that the sunlight here was just gorgeous.

Week One – Color

My first week on Project 52… And I have to tell you. I only took photos today. AHHHH… What a nice break. I took about 30 shots to get this one that I like. It was the first shot! I wonder if that means I’m getting better?

These are the chocolate pieces to a new Monopoly that I got from friends last night. I can’t wait to play/eat!
