I’m kinda already in vacation mode this week. My two big meetings are out of the way and now I can get ready for Napa next week.

So, I was able to go and enjoy a night of dinner with some good friends. They grilled out and we had some yummy ice cream and fun conversation. Then they even got me a couple of fun presents! It’s gonna be a “wine birthday”!

I think my favorites are the wine necklace to hold a glass and the wine glass cuff links. 🙂

Of course Diohgé just made himself at home under the table.

Today was a gorgeous day outside. We finally hit 70° in Minnesota. I couldn’t be more happy about the weather. So I took advantage of going outside by attending a couple of happy hours. Then we ended up at some friends for a dinner party. We had a great time, great food and great wine.

Then we came home to this boy.

Amazing day of relaxation! We woke up late, enjoyed some coffee and then our personal trainer stopped by to give us an Easter egg with a discount in it. 🙂 Then she talked us into going to lunch at Rodizio, a Brazilian steakhouse. Yum!

We then all went to the dog park for a couple of hours. After, Dave and I went to Wildfire for a free dinner! (Coupons and gift cards!) I enjoyed this nice wine flight.

Pooch had a nice time today at the park, but wanted to play tonight by his clear move of bringing me the ball.

I’d like to thank my mother for the amazing Easter basket! Homemade candies! Yum… It was a great food day!

I woke up today all a-flutter with a long list of to-dos. When I went downstairs I was greeted by this beautiful sight… Shammie was in full bloom to wish us off to her homeland!

We had to drop off the pooch with our friend Cara… Which when he saw her was so excited and jumped up on her. But he knew what was happening and tried twice to get back into the car. 😦 Then he kept on jumping on us giving us kisses. Broke our hearts!
