Another day of snow in May. I’m so thrilled. I couldn’t be more happy. Diohgé pulled out the snowman from the middle of all of his toys. Seems appropriate.
Then we went out and bought a new grill tonight! It’s a downsize, but the older one was too big. And the burners didn’t work anymore… I don’t have the patience to clean it and see if the lines just need to be fixed.
Diohgé could not have been happier this morning in the snow. It makes it hard for me to be mad about the weather. He was running around, chasing himself and what we call “playing bucking bronco” where he looks like a horse jumping. So funny.
This evening I had the chance to catch up with some old college friends, the Hall’s. We had a nice chat/dinner at a greasy dive called Mickey’s Dining Car. Yum!
The Hall’s are in town so that they can start a long process to healing the leg of their youngest. It will involve several surgeries and trips up here – over 12 to 14 years. My heart goes out to them…
Lord, I pray that not only will You be with Katelyn tomorrow and through the years to come, but that You’ll bless Joey and Karey with wisdom, peace and strength. Be with the doctors, nurses and other caregivers… Guide their hands and hearts. Thank you!

We started off today with a little over 6 inches of snow. I was actually a bit surprised how deep it was!
This afternoon I swung by Finnegan’s to say hi and enjoyed an amazing new CAN of beer. Yum! In stores soon…

Diohgé was a little bored/tired tonight. But he was very frustrated that I didn’t throw the ball quick enough.
I was on a little jetty jet trip today. We hit some stores in Milwaukee and northern Chicago. The best part… Lunch at Portillo’s!! I was ecstatic.
It was so nice to fly in over Minneapolis and see the snow. So. Nice.
Pooch and I were holding paws tonight.
