Tomorrow is our closing. I feel anxious. Stressed. Excited. Sad. Hopeful. I can’t wait to start actually moving stuff in.

I relaxed in the morning by killing some Candy Crush – I finally finished all 440 current levels. Then I promptly deleted the game. Must. Stop.

Afterwards, I packed some, threw away some and got ready for tomorrow. We headed out to the arboretum for a little photo shoot… Of us! The fall colors are gorgeous and Diohgé had a fun time breaking the law.

MMMZ invited us over for some dinner since we’re on a take out schedule. Yum! We had to introduce them to Meeker wine as all good friends should.

I think Diohgé will be missing these stairs in a few days. 😦

‘Merica! A day if shooting and fun with friends. I went out to the MN Horse and Hunt Club where we got a groupon to shoot some clays and have lunch. Had a blast! Especially watching Matthew and Craig battle for the final score…

When I came home pooch and I took a nice long nap. Ahhhh… I needed that rest.

Pooch and I went in a long walk around the neighborhood… Probably our last before we move! So I took him out to the bluff and let him run around some.

And then to wrap up the weekend, we went over to Mark & Meghann’s for a vertical wine tasting and some dinner. Both of their parents were there to help with the move and we had a great time.

Woo hoo!! Such a day of celebrations!!

First, Diohgé had such a great day at daycare. He was so tuckered that he could barely stand up in the car to look out the window.

Second, THEY ACCEPTED OUR OFFER! We have an inspection this Wednesday and I am so excited… More to come…

But most importantly, today is Dave’s birthday! Happy 32nd Dave! I’m glad that we could have a really bad cheat day!! (Bread, pizza, wine and ice cream cake!) And I love your new found appreciation for red wine!

245.365.2013 Labor Day Delights

Labor Day… And a beautiful one! It went from 90 degrees yesterday to a chilly 71 today. Literally we all wore hoodies!

But it was gorgeous and relaxing. We met up with Matthew and Beth to head up to Chateau St. Croix for a wine tasting. It was Matthew’s first!! We enjoyed it a lot … Great Groupon deals if you are interested.

Then we found a little place for lunch… Very Minnesota country, but good!

We found another winery and the wine was just okay. The service was HORRID. It wasn’t worth the $5 tasting fee. But we had a fun time!

When we got home, Yamar and I sat on the patio sipping some wine and reading a book. He enjoyed all of the commotion with the kids running around the neighborhood.
