After visiting some more stores today in NYC, we headed home through the dog and into the icy winter. But we did get home at a decent hour.
So Dave and I went and finished up the party shopping and came home to start prepping.
Diohgé just enjoyed resting in front of the tree.
I’m traveling for work in Long Island today and tomorrow. It’s been good getting out to see stores post-Holiday. And of course I get to have dinner and new places… Brew Haus! Sampler…
And I missed this pooch today. It snowed back home several inches and I know Diohgé loved the snow.
Meh. It was a great day… Busy recapping Black Friday. Busy in meetings. Busy on conference calls. And then it began to snow. And snow harder. It was really coming down. I had to get out of dodge. I can’t handle stupid traffic so I left and came home to work.
The our friends Matthew & Rob came over for dinner tonight to discuss all things decorating, vacations, and other fun. We had a great dinner and some great drinks.
The pooch was so tired tonight. He’s saying good bye to our friends and getting some love.
I got so much done today!! First, I officially visited two stores with a local leader. Great visits and a great conversation.
Then I bought our second Christmas tree and hunted down some candy chocolate. When I got home, it was time for business. First, Dave left for a photo job. The pooch always knows to watch us leave from his special window.
Then I cleaned up the garage and the yard before heading inside to make some delights. Easier than I thought!
PS, they are delicious.
Then I started decorating for the Holiday. All done except for actually decorating the two trees. Tomorrow!
Now it’s time to relax with some popcorn and wine. Well, it was time.
And more shopping ensued… Lots of comp shopping. Lots of me wanting things. Ugh. I only bought things I needed!
The pooch had an exhausting day.
