Day 352

I got two text this AM already asking my why 365 wasn’t posted. Yes, mother and sister… I’m okay. I took my photos, but we had a long day (as you will see below) and then got a little “into” playing Angry Birds. Those damn pigs just won’t die.

Anywhoo… Had a great day yesterday starting with a massage. 🙂 Then we headed out for some Christmas shopping at the MOA. Now, why we went to the MOA on the Saturday before Christmas? I have no idea… ask Dave. It’s his fault. But we did enjoy a nice dinner at the Twin City Grille for his birthday (September), but we never had the chance to do it.

Day 346

Went to some friend’s Holiday party today. The roads weren’t too bad until we got to N Minneapolis… and then I figured out why I kept my SUV. Fun times. I did love the idea for their food at the party… This “hot plate” type of appliance is called a “rocket” or something. But essentially, they had out a selection of meats, cheese and breads… along with some pineapple and veggies. You could kind of cook your own little bites. Very fun!

And then I wanted to get some nice shots of the snow, but it is just TOO DARN COLD. But this spot was fun with some great lines and textures.

Almost like sand dunes

Day 328

Today was our Thanksgiving Day. Sara and Matt both have to work tomorrow. We were excited to have our cousin Leah join us as well… And of course I got some great photos!

Day 229

This is a hard life

Banana Cashew Eggrolls

So, this rating gig… hard stuff. I mean, we had to rush to the restaurant for our reservation, worry about getting sat two minutes ahead… have a filling dinner with these really yummy drinks (homemade ginger ale!?). And then to top it off, we had to have dessert. I forced myself to eat these banana cashew eggrolls (with chocolate dipping sauce) that had a melty mixture of brown sugar and cashews throughout. O.M.G. Amazing.

I am going to get so fat.
