So I’m off!! Well, I was this morning… Off on the jet to Dallas. My partner and I hit 5 stores today all across the market. We had some great conversation getting to know each other. And great food… He lived here for two years so we had a great dive burger and some Mexican tonight. #fatkid
Here’s a view of the wintry Minneapolis leaving today. We left -14 and landed in 40-50. Nice!!
I headed to the car shop this morning and was excited to make it without my front fender falling off. They were great and had me in a nice rental quickly and I was still at work by 7:30.
Had some meetings and then got an email asking me to jump on a last minute 3 day trip. Well… There went the day! And week! So I’m off out and about tomorrow. (Can’t tell you where yet…)
I’m going to miss my pooch! He clearly will miss me (in his dreams).
But I am excited to use my new Tumi bag!!
Well, today was fun. I slept in, had some coffee, pulled the fender off the front of my car. Yep. So happy. Can’t wait for that bill. I seriously think the worst thing about this house is the garage/driveway combo area.
Anyways, we did have a great time with Matthew, Beth and Bailey. The dogs played inside and outside. We ate a lot of delicious bad food. And had some yummy wine. Of course all while watching the Broncos crush the Patriots. Now the Seahawks are coming back!
I had a really fun day! I woke up to the sound of a neighbor snow blowing. So I got up, had some coffee and then headed out to snow blow our drive way. I also did the driveways of two other neighbors who have helped us in the past. That felt good! The pooch watched me from his perch the entire time.
Then I went out for a haircut and grocery shopping. This evening we headed over to the King’s for our Iron Chef dinner. They made an amazing braised chicken.
And of course I had some yummy wine. It was a great time with friends and we had a great day!
OMG. What a week. I’m so happy it’s over. So tonight Dave and I went to celebrate by having dinner at Jake’s. When we got home the pooch was excited to play. He was also excited to rip apart his toys.
I also had fun today when Katie Pretzel dropped off an ornament from a 2011 Christmas party. We placed a wish in it and I just opened it up. The wish didn’t come true, but I like the fun of this!
