Pooch and I went on a long walk today.
Where we saw these pretty wildflowers. (Why do people always want to rip them out?)
Then we came home and opened my new toy! The Pebble finally arrived! It’s a watch that sends me phone calls and other notifications like text messages. So much fun!

First day of “vacation” for Portland… We actually got up early and caught a tour to see Multnomah Falls and the Columbia Gorge area. It was beautiful! The tour guide did a nice job giving us history of the area and showing us just where to see the sights.
When we got back, we shopped a bit and had lunch at Nordstrom’s Cafe. Then a friend texted and invited us over for a beer.
Once we arrived, we ended up having a great time with some yummy wine, a great cheese platter and then some dinner. The kids were so much fun… The dog was snuggly and the night was perfect! Thanks Frerichs’!
Our pooch was also having a blast with his friends…
Tomorrow… Wine tasting!
We left today for our quick work trip to Portland! I am so excited to visit not only our smallest CityTarget to date, but this fun and funky city.

After a fantastic dinner, we took a long walk (about 1.5 miles) along the river. Gorgeous!
The goal of course… Get to VooDoo Doughnuts. Yummers!

Today was gorgeous! The weather was amazing and everything was beautiful. We went to a parade and the Twins game with friends…
The pooch had a long day too. Day care said he was quite cuddly. He came home and slept the rest of the day.
This morning pooch and I were leaving to go to daycare. He was so excited that he decided to take Mickey with him for what I could only assume was show and tell. Hilarious!
Tonight we had dinner with some great friends at Moscow Hill in St. Paul. It’s a Russian restaurant with great vodka drinks and even better dishes. Before we went, we met at the VonKissel’s for a drink and enjoyed the nature in the yard.
When we got back, the power was out at their house from the storm. Disco party with the flashlights!!
