4.365.2014 Cleaning

After a nice long morning of sleeping in, the pup and I got ready and headed to the dog park. He played with his girl Lucy and then we all left. It was pretty busy because the impending cold wave.

Then we drove to get gas and a car wash. The guy in front of me clearly can’t read directions and had to back all the way out a couple of times. When we finally went in, Diohgé was not happy. He came to the front seat with me…

Tonight Dave and I had dinner and went to see The Secret Life of Walter Mitty to celebrate Jen’s birthday. It was a good movie!

Afterwards, we came home and I took down one Christmas tree. One more to go!

Today was a nice little snow day… Which meant a restless pup, a lazy Mary, and me cooking lots of Pinterest recipes.

Diohgé and I went outside to play. He was very confused by my Darth Vader voice.

Mary enjoyed her corner chaise reading some magazines while we watched season 2 of Homeland.

And one of the dishes I made was a buffalo chicken empanada and then followed that up with a cinnamon fruit one. Yum. (I also made oatmeal pancakes and a healthy pasta.)

We left IN to head home for MN today but made a quick pit stop at Papa Ron’s to help with a phone issue. This ice sculpture was out front… Loved it!

Then my favorite gift this Christmas was a new camera from Dave! A Polaroid z340… Old style prints, but is also digital! It’s just something fun to play with… Well, the power cord didn’t work. So PhotoJoJo being so magical shipped me a whole new camera and even gift wrapped it. Amaze-balls!
